Posted by: slucas
Walking through the streets of Lisbon and a few minutes later admire the architecture of the buildings of Jerusalem, the colors of Copenhagen and the frescoes in Trento, Italy, is only possible in virtual environments.
Starting on September 23rd, the Pavilion of Knowledge - Ciencia Viva presents the exhibition My Ideal City, an entirely virtual show where the public can observe 3D models of ideal cities. Apart from knowing interpretations of these cities, each visitor can interact virtually through online games and contact with visitors from other science centers.
The exhibition My Ideal City is the result of the European project MIC - My Ideal City, which has as partners the Pavilion of Knowledge - Ciencia Viva (Lisbon), Experimentarium (Copenhagen), the Museo di Scienze Naturali (Trento), Bloomfield Science Museum (Jerusalem) and the University of Venice.
